Inside...

Inside is a person that no one may ever see, if you don't believe in

yourself and shine brightly!

About Me

My photo
I am wide open, but very closed up sometimes. I enjoy the company of love ones (family, friends, companions). I like to write, read, sing, laugh, dance, and chill. I want to find the true meaning of it all. Well, life is what I mean. I am a friend to many, and I have a few friends. There is so much to me. I am not a complex puzzle of 1,003 pieces, but there is more to me than what the eye sees.

Food For Thought

If I am hurt, please do not laugh at me. If you don't and reach your hand
out to lift me up, that makes this inhumane world more humane for me. If I cry,
please don't disregard my tears. It may just be the door opener to you
getting to know your TRUE self.

Holy-Day Season

In a prospective sense...

We haven't left yet for the road trip in a car. I have a feeling about the situation. I am going to write before we go and after we go. To provide you with a picture of what it was like living there as a child, it was quite serene and pleasant. If you ever wanted some clean, fresh air, you would take a whiff there and voila! There was this enormously long dirt road that we would walk up to catch the bus, no matter the season. Now all I do is drive on roads. Well we did have a little version of that road in Trenton, NC until my mom moved into her beautiful queen-dom. Off on a tangent. Get back on track.

So we are going to Trenton, NC to visit family. In retrospect, I felt like they would judge us and make us feel different. Something about us was different. Well my immediate family. My siblings and I were born to be different. As I think about my life, I always was the rogue hair sticking out of the hair style. Wild and free. Expressive. Loving. Caring. Fair. A true learner. I had to be to not repeat things or let's say mistakes more than three or four times. LOL. But hey I am going off on a tangent again.

We are going to visit fam in the state of NC and we are going to celebrate Jesus' b-day. No we do not go bearing gifts. We are the gifts. I hope that we are embraced and not judged. Things will get better for everyone. In advance, I will thank God and his Son for this wonderful Holy-day. He sacrificed his life so that I may live...and also you the reader. I will take lots of pictures and provide captions.

Ending with a shout-out to all educators. Are you not ecstatic that we are off of work for two weeks? Thank God for the Holy-day breaks. Take care.
